Ready for the easiest and most flavorful recipe you’ll probably ever make? Here we go!
INGREDIENTS
15 drumsticks*
Cayenne pepper
Paprika
Garlic salt
Sea salt
Black pepper
Trader Joe’s Chile seasoning (optional)
DIRECTIONS
Preheat oven to 400 degrees
Spread a piece of parchment paper over a large baking sheet (using parchment helps crisp up the chicken and not get soggy with liquid and juices) and spread drumsticks out evenly over the pan. If you’re doing 15 they will be all packed in tight on there!
Take each spice, one by one, and shake over each drumstick giving it a light coating. I like to start with cayenne pepper so that you can see how much goes on each drumstick because of the red/orange color. If your family isn’t into spice go really easy on the cayenne pepper!
Once each drumstick is sprinkled with all of the spices put the baking sheet into the oven and bake for 35 minutes.
At 35 minutes, take chicken out and flip each drumstick over. Coat with spices the same way you did before.
Stick back into the oven and bake for another 25 minutes.
Take out and let cool. Enjoy!
*I have 3 boys who eat a ton of these so I like to make big batches and have a few for leftovers. If you want to do just 5-10 drumsticks the recipe stays the same. Do what works for your family!
